Purpose of processing
We collect the necessary personal data so that we can offer you the PeiDei recruitment service. The purpose of the PeiDei service is to promote your employment.
We use the data in the register to manage and maintain the contractual relationship, i.e. for contact, service provision and marketing, as well as to develop the PeiDei service and ensure its functionality.
Is it necessary to provide information?
If you do not provide personal data or allow their processing, it is likely that we will not be able to work with you and fulfill the purpose of our activity.
Data content of the register
We store the following data as needed:
- first and last name
- e-mail address
- job search area
- educational information
- work experience (year and date)
- other information you entered in the service yourself
Data retention
The information is stored for three years after the end of the contractual relationship. After this, the data is deleted or anonymized in a secure manner.

Your personal data will be only collected from you yourself.

The basis for processing personal data is the contract we make with you when you join the PeiDei service.

PeiDei-service: The service is implemented as an Amazon Web Services -cloud service and the information collected from it is stored on servers located in the EU region. In our operations, we can also use subcontractors or service providers operating in the software industry who work in cooperation with us, offering us their services or expertise or who perform tasks on our behalf.
Disclosure of your personal information to potential employers: PeiDei has the right to hand over all job search-related data you enter in the service to potential employers, i.e. companies or organizations that are looking for an employee through the PeiDei service. We only hand over your data related to your work and skills. We do not pass on information from which you can be directly identified. Such directly identifiable information is, for example, name and address. Please note, that in some cases, a potential employer has the opportunity to infer your identity based on your education and skills.
Disclosing data is necessary so that a potential employer has the opportunity to get to know your educational background and skills, and to leave a contact request for you via the PeiDei service. The companies to which your data is transferred act as responsible registrars and use the data for their own account.
Other situations in which your data may be disclosed: Your data can also be disclosed if required by law or a competent authority. We can hand over your data to the buyer even after the transaction has been completed.
Rights of the registrant
The right to receive information about the processing of your personal data: You have the right to check what personal data has been stored about you. If you wish, you can request a copy of your personal data.
The right to transfer data from one system to another: You have the right to request that the personal data you provide be transferred to another controller.
The right to correct or delete data: You have the right to request the correction or deletion of your personal data (“right to be forgotten”).
The right to receive information if your personal data is corrected or restricted: We will notify you if we correct or delete your data or if we limit the processing of your data.
The right not to be subject to automated decision-making without a legal basis: Automatic decision-making means that a decision is made automatically based on your personal data. When you enter into a contract with us, you also give your consent to automatic decision-making, which is part of the operating system of the PeiDei- service.
You also have the right to restrict or object to the processing of your personal data in accordance with Articles 18 and 21 of the EU Data Protection Regulation.
How do you exercise your rights?
If you wish, you can request a copy from us, or get information about your personal data. The request must be sent in writing to the data protection officer, who is responsible for Data Protection. If necessary, the registrar can ask the requester to prove their identity
If you consider that the processing of your data is not in accordance with the law, you have the right to file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (Data Protection Commissioner). In such a case, we ask you to inform us as well, so that we can correct our possible errors and offer an even better service in the future.

Transfer of personal data outside EU countries
Personal data will not be transferred or disclosed outside the EU area.
Registry protection
Electronic data is transferred over an SSL-protected connection. The data is protected by a firewall, usernames and passwords. The data stored as a paper version is stored in a locked state.
With regard to directly identifiable data, only those employed by the data controller, or persons acting on behalf of the data controller, who need the data in their duties, have access rights. Appropriate agreements have been made with all companies acting on behalf of our company, which ensure that data is processed safely and in accordance with the law.
Updating the privacy statement
This privacy statement can be updated, for example, when the legislation changes, or when there are changes in our processing of personal data. If the changes are significant, they will be notified on the website of the controller.
