Service contract and terms of use for applicants

General

These general terms and conditions of use apply to the contractual relationship between the PeiDei job search service offered by PeiDei Oy (hereinafter PeiDei) and the user (hereinafter the applicant) regarding the use of the service. The user of the application must be at least 18 years old.

When these terms and conditions refer to an employer, it meand a company or organization that has submitted its information to the PeiDei service and is looking for an employee for its organization. The employer does not act as a third party to the contract in this service, the purpose of which is to match the applicant and the employer according to the principles of anonymous recruitment and compatible salary expectations.

The survive is integrated into the customer register of RX Enterprise Oy which acts as a technology supplier. The service is immediately available when the login is successful.

The PeiDei service is free of charge for applicants.

The purpose and goal of the service

In the job search service offered by PeiDei, applicants can manage their own data. PeiDei forwards the information provided by the applicant themselves to potential employers, so that the applicant has the opportunity to be employed directly by the employer. Only the information related to the applicant’s education, skills, work experience, location of the position being applied for, and salary expectations are forwarded to potential employers.

The applicant’s information is provided to the job provider anonymized, i.e. anonymously, and without detailed information aboye e.g., previous employers.. The purpose of this is that the employer does not know the identity of the applicant, and that the selection is made on the basis of competence and experience.

PeiDei matches applicants and employers based on these compatible wants and needs .PeiDei offers employers suitable applicants for the applied positions based on the information received from the applicants.

The purpose is for the employer to find potential jobseeker candidates using the service. When the employer has indicated their interest in the PeiDei service, PeiDei forwards the contact information of the interested organization to the applicant.

If the applicant is interested in the job, they accept a job interview request in the PeiDei service with the employer, who is interested in them, and agrees on possible further measures to promote their employment.

Rights and obligations of the applicant

In the service offered by PeiDei, applicants can manage their own information. The applicant has the obligation to provide truthful information about themselves.

PeiDei can contact the user after the job interview to ask about the progress of the job search. After the creation of the employment contract, the applicant has the opportunity to receive a reward by answering additional information questions in the PeiDei service.

The applicant has the right to enter into an employment contract with the employer independently, and PeiDei does not influence, participate or intervene in the content of the contract. However, we hope that you familiarize yourself with the collective agreement in your field carefully before concluding the contract. Employer companies operating as users of this service have committed to pay at least the salary in accordance with the collective agreement for the work. If you are offered a salary lower than the recommended salary according to the collective agreement in your field, we hope you will inform us about this.

PeiDei grants the jobseeker the right to use the service and its content only for their own personal use. The applicant may not reproduce or share the content of the service in any form. 

The applicant may also not use the service in violation of these terms of use, Finnish law or good practice.

PeiDei Oy’s rights and obligations, as well as limitations of liability

PeiDei strives to offer the applicant jobs that meet the applicants’ own application criteria, and is under no obligation to justify its own choices.

PeiDei is not responsible for the correctness of the information provided by the employer, nor for the possible consequences of incorrect or incomplete information.

When you have been assigned a possible job interview in the application and you have accepted the interview invitation, the PeiDei service will receive information about the interview time you agreed upon.  PeiDei has the right to contact the applicant and ask about the progress of the job search.

PeiDei does not act as an employer in the service, nor does it operate on a staffing principle, and thus is not responsible for the employer’s obligations either. For this reason, PeiDei is also not responsible for any problems with the new employer, for example related to job search, employment relationship or employment contract. 

The contracting parties are not responsible for possible indirect or third-party damages to each other.

PeiDei strives to keep the service available whenever it is technically possible. However, we cannot guarantee that the service will always work without interruption, on time or without errors.

The service and its content are provided “as is”. PeiDei is not responsible for the correctness of the information content transmitted in the application. PeiDei has the right to modify or change the service, as well as to terminate or close the service, or to cancel an individual user’s access right without separate notification to the users.

Data protection and terms of personal data processing

The parties understand that the implementation of the PeiDei service requires the processing and disclosure of personal data between the parties. 

PeiDei’s role is to bring the applicant and the employee together, and to act legally only as a mediator of contact information and knowledge-related information.

PeiDei has the right to hand over the applicant’s information to the company or organization offering the job. The applicant’s information is forwarded to potential employers anonymously, and without precise information about, for example, previous employers.

The purpose of anonymous recruitment is that the employer does not know the identity of the applicant before the job interview, and that the selection is made on the basis of education, skills and experience.  Please note that in some cases it is also possible to infer the identity of the applicant based on just the educational background and work experience, and PeiDei is not responsible for the matter or its possible consequences.

The employer who receives your data through PeiDei processed your personal data as an independent data controller on its own account and is committed to processing the personal data it receives and provides in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679) and national data protection legislation, and PeiDei is not responsible for processing the personal data of the company offering the job. 

As the data controller, PeiDei takes care of the proper processing and storage of personal data, as well as data security. However, PeiDei cannot guarantee the security of the content of the data transmitted through the service. PeiDei is not responsible for possible malware spreading through the service, nor is it responsible for the data or content sent or received by the applicant through the service. The service and its contents are provided “as is”. PeiDei is not responsible for the correctness of the information or content transmitted in the application. 

PeiDei has the right to modify or change the service, as well as to terminate or close the service, or to cancel an individual user’s access right without a separate notification to the user.
